John Graham Holdings Limited has posted its financial results for the year ended 31st March 2025, showing a 6% decline in revenue to 拢1.06bn (2024: 拢1.12bn).
However, profit before tax was up 71% to 拢25.2m (2024: 拢14.8m, while gross profit improved to 拢73m, and cash reserves grew to 拢192.5m.
This was attributed to disciplined contract selection, robust commercial management and a focus on long-term value creation.
New contract awards during the year included the 拢90m D3 deep-water terminal for Belfast Harbour Commissioners and several school building projects for the Department of Education鈥檚 school rebuilding programme.
聽Other notable awards included a 拢124.5m student accommodation scheme in Glasgow for Unite and a 拢100m mixed-use development in Leeds for Latimer. The latter was one of the first high rise buildings to achieve Gateway 2 approval from the Building Safety Regulator.
Graham also secured a place on National Highways鈥� multi-billion-pound road renewals framework.
Since the end of the financial year, Graham has added to its leadership team with the appointment of Johnny Hall to the board as chief operating officer in May 2025. The company also appointed a new group quality director and a group director for ESG (environmental, social and governance).
The board said that, with a record order book, a healthy forward pipeline and a strong balance sheet, the group 鈥渋s well-positioned for controlled growth鈥�.
