Kimpton has recruited HE Simm鈥檚 former operations director Ian Bruce, former work winning director Peter O鈥橩eeffe, senior project manager Neil Davies, lead mechanical estimator John Glynn, and Shane Hartley, who was previously electrical pre-construction lead at the firm.
The appointments bolster Kimpton鈥檚 technical operations capacity as the business embarks on a new phase of growth under a new management board, following last year鈥檚 management buyout.
In particular, the new team will support Kimpton鈥檚 expanded delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services to commercial and public sector clients across the UK, while the firm continues to see growing demand for full commercial fit-out projects, decarbonisation and hard facilities management services.
Founded in 1948, M&E engineering contractor HE Simm was one of Liverpool鈥檚 longest-established family-run businesses, turning over more than 拢110m a year before it fell into administration last month.
