Business Development Manager

Job Description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - SOHO

Dove & Hawk have partnered with a dynamic and entrepreneurial commercial real estate agency who are dedicated to delivering the highest calibre of advice and services for their clients in the fast-moving and highly competitive London office markets.

As a small, ambitious team with bold growth expectations, they are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager who shares the same drive for personal and professional growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients through a multitude of channels including the internal company CRM, industry-specific databases, LinkedIn, and other sources. Utilise cold calling, LinkedIn and email outreach, and other strategies to initiate contact with prospects to obtain pertinent information.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-up. Manage and update customer information, interactions, and opportunities in the CRM.
  • Sales Strategy Development: In conjunction with the marketing manager, and company owners, to develop and execute multi-channel sales strategies to nurture leads, achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. Collaborate with the projects team to identify key accounts and opportunities for expansion.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Use market insights to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline effectively using Hubspot or similar CRM tools. Track progress, update records, and generate reports to provide visibility into sales performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing/management/projects teams to develop new initiatives for marketing, services development, and client retention practices to ensure alignment and support business objectives.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in business development or sales in a B2B
  • Proven success in a business development, sales, or a related role, in a B2B capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with researching and cold calling to generate leads.
  • Strong organisational skills, with proficiency in CRM updating and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a results-focused environment.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of exceeding sales targets.


Salary budgets: £32,500 - £50,000 basic salary DOE, £60,000 - £80,000+ OTE

Required working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
