At Laing O鈥橰ourke, Tom Rice was head of design management for construction in Scotland and the north of England.
Now at Wates he is design director for the north, reporting to regional managing director Phil Harrison.
Mr Rice is a chartered architect with a portfolio that includes the Trinity Retail development in Leeds and Manchester Town Hall and Central Library. He lives in Liverpool and will be based at Wates Construction鈥檚 Warrington office.
