The two organisations have signed a memorandum of understanding that will see them explore ways to collaborate on research, shared lectures, placements and more. A key area of cooperation is expected to be on the development of building information modelling (BIM).
Mace director Simon Dale signed the agreement with Peter Westland, dean of the university鈥檚 School of Architecture, Design & the Built Environment.
Mr Westland said: 鈥淎s a university we鈥檙e very eager to develop our already strong links with industry, and this agreement is something which we feel will enhance our teaching and research while also opening up our academic expertise even further to industry.

Mace chief operating officer Mark Holmes said:聽 鈥淭his is an important step in building our profile with undergraduates in order to ensure we build our talent pipelines.
