The first is for a refurbishment and extension programme at St Saviour鈥檚 and St Olav鈥檚, a Church of England Secondary Girl鈥檚 School and Sixth Form Centre. The school went through several building and extension phases during the last century. The new 拢9m project aims to rationalise access throughout the school, replace temporary classrooms and increase the available teaching area.
BredinghurstSchoolis a special needs secondary school for boys that is developing plans for a 拢10.3m new build on its existing site that will expand the scope of the school and replace all existing small and medium sized buildings.
Gifford is drawing up detailed design plans now for both projects for the contractor Balfour Beatty with building work likely to start on site next year.聽
